Although a trading company, at our core we value originality over pursuit
of volume and scale, seek a unique way of thinking and speedy decision-making
our rivals cannot offer, and take forward-looking action. We have expanded
our business scope by meeting good internal and external partners that
fit our business model and through timely entrance into manufacturing and
processing operations via tie ups with affiliates.
Our products may occupy a niche, but we have developed by making them a
necessary presence through emphasis of unique research and business development.
Yet we are not content to rest on our laurels and are adding manufacturing
and sales functionality to our overseas affiliates to constantly strive
for further development. Moreover, the management of these operations has
been successfully entrusted to our younger employees, as we watch over
their growth.
On a plane separate from operations management, in order for us to create
more interesting businesses, our employees can use the company's resources
for project planning and realization in accordance with PJ20 protocol,
and so their sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for the process result
in a project system that allows for independent participation of every
single one of our workers. The job shouldn't be limited by a set framework,
because the joy of working at a trading company is the ability to pursue
all possibilities.I entered a general trading company chasing my childhood
dreams of a globe-trotting businessman, dashing up the airplane ramp with
an attache case in hand.
The reality proved to be much harsher, but with the difficulties came a sense of purpose and accomplishment, and a certain scale and status in which I could blissfully bask.
As luck would have it, I transferred to Kohyei, a unique trading company that made me sweat and push my mental abilities to find a pleasure in management and business unlike something I have ever experienced.
