I , a child of the baby-boom generation, made my first steps as a member of this society in Kobe, an international port-city, awash with fragrance of the ocean tide and diesel oil. I remember the brilliant flower clock of Sannomiya in April's sun-drenched breeze.
At work, I took my time and patiently pursued my own working style, recognizing my inaptitude for sales. My love for things new found its use at the company as I went on to experience all of its operations - my personal asset.
In famous words of honorable Yukichi Fukuzawa: "The most enjoyable, admirable thing in this world is to have a life-long work." Having been able to work this long at Kohyei is truly a blessing. However, I keep a constant eye on the stunning development of Russia, China and our other Asian neighbors. As globalization enters a new stage, I strongly feel that the company and its people must continue to change to survive.
