I currently work in the chemical products division selling dyes and adhesives for automotive use, electrical materials and housing.

About a year after I joined I had the important duty of introducing our company in front of dozens of American clients at a supplier conference overseas. I can't say that I had full knowledge about the company at the time or the confidence in my English abilities, but I gave it my best shot and my speech was greeted with applause. The episode gave me courage to calmly think of a solution when trouble occurs.

The chemical products division I work at was created only last year, we still don't have sufficient staff so much of the work falls on the shoulders of each person. On the other hand, it means that you can make decisions at your discretion based on information exchange with your superiors.
